TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST/ SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install new file servers, PCs, firewalls, routers, switches, WAP’s, etc.
  • Maintain and support existing file servers, PCs, firewalls, routers, switches, WAP’s, etc.
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, remote, on-site to clients
  • Crate and maintain network documentation
  • Work with patch management & monitoring software
  • Manage patches/updates, install third party patches and updates to client environment
  • monitor backup jobs daily and troubleshoot/remediate any issues
  • And more

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree preferred, but not required
  • Three+ years of professional technical experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in dealing with technical issues
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Ability to be a technical resource to other team members
  • Ability to follow operating procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor

Technical Experience:

  • Experience with installing and maintaining file servers and PC’s
  • Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory administration and support
  • Group policy administration and support
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration
  • Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, WAP’s
