LexisNexis has released Time Matters/Billing Matters 16.  If you are currently on the LexisNexis Annual Maintenance Plan for Time Matters/Billing Matters, you are already entitled to this latest version.  If you are using version 13 or older, you should plan to upgrade.  Older versions of the software are no longer supported and will not have any further service releases to them.

This new version includes the updates listed below.

Time Matters/Billing Matters 16

Microsoft® Active Directory® Integration – If your company uses Active Directory, you can create a link between Time Matters and Active Directory that permits users to use one set of credentials to access Windows and Time Matters. Each Time Matters user can be mapped to an Active Directory account.

Calendar Detail View – Display details for Events and ToDos together for multiple staff for a single day using the Detail View button.

Monthly and Weekly Calendar View Update – When multiple entries are added to a date that exceeds the date’s list space, a new flyout window has been added to display all the records for Events and/or ToDo’s for a given day without the need to switch to the Daily Calendar view.

Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2016 – Time Matters now supports SQL Server 2016.

Microsoft OneDrive Default File Location – A new option is added to the Microsoft OneDrive setup enable or disable OneDrive as the default location to store documents. This option allows you to exclusively use OneDrive to store documents or select it as option in the Document form.

Time Matters/Billing Matters 16 also includes all prior updates.  Below is a reminder of what was added in version 15.

Adjustable font sizes – Users can now increase the font size used in certain area of the product including, Lists, Calendar and Transaction lists.
