TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST/NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:
  • Install new file servers, PCs, firewalls, routers, switches, WAPs, backups, and printers
  • Maintain and support existing file servers, PCs, firewalls, routers, switches, WAPs, and printers
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, remote visits, and on-site visits
  • Create and maintain network documentation
  • Work with patch management & monitoring software
  • Manage patches and updates; install third party patches and updates to client environment
  • Resolve patch issues with patch installations
  • Monitor backup jobs daily and remediate any issues
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree preferred, but not required
  • Three+ years of professional technical experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Proven knowledge of troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong background in client service and support
  • Experience with installing and maintaining file servers and PCs
  • Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory administration and support
  • Group Policy administration and support
  • TCP/IP networking, including DNS and DHCP
  • MS Exchange administration and support
  • Experience with server backup solutions
  • Expert knowledge of Device Manager and computer hardware

DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

  • Install and support productivity software applications
  • Maintain and support existing software applications
  • Provide remote technical support via phone and email
  • Provide on-site technical support
  • Create and maintain support documentation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree preferred, but not required
  • Two+ years of professional technical support experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with installing and maintaining software and PCs
  • Experience with Windows installation and support
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with spyware and virus removal
  • Experience with Active Directory, share permissions, and security groups
  • Knowledge of Device Manager and computer hardware

MSP ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patch management & monitoring software alerts
  • Deploy agent software on servers, desktops, and laptops
  • Apply Windows and third-party software patches and updates to client environment
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts from AV software and firewalls
  • Respond to help desk calls and emails; resolve issues for clients
  • Troubleshoot and remediate malware issues
  • Create hardware and software reports
  • Maintain support documentation
